I have been very fortunate to combine my passion for the outdoors with filmmaking and photography over the years. My specialty is taking my camera into the outdoors on adventures, documenting extreme sports such as mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, surfing and Highlining to name a few. I have experience shooting commercial work, especially in the Tourism sector and hold a Bachelor of Creative Media Production. I have received a number of awards for my work in recent years including a NZ Cinematographers Society Gold Award in the student category, Best Cinematography at the NZ Mountain Film Festival and winner of the Aerial category in the 2023 NZ Geographic Photographer Of The Year Awards. The inspiration for much of my work to date has been inspired by my connection to the people and landscapes of my hometown in Central Otago New Zealand. I am passionate about using my camera as a means to tell unique stories.
With such experience behind me, I am very comfortable flying a drone in challenging environments, filming in a huge range of situations, and working with a range of different people and teams. I am also very familiar with the Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
I'm comfortable shooting across multiple camera platforms but have the most experience working with Canon's Mirrorless & cinema line, RED and various DJI products.
I would love to take on more projects.
